I'm really loving these tapes. It is going slowly with everything else that is happening in the house. But it is a great way to spend part of the day.
Presently we're still on the Old-Tim Raido's Greatest Shows collection (20 tapes total). I figure it will take a couple of weeks to get through the entire set.

Still a lot of tapes to get through. Luckily there really isn't much to watch on the television so I hope we'll get to do more tape listening and even through some game playing in while we do it.
We were fortunate to get more radio shows from the library. It's been a bit slow going since we like to listen to them together. The current set we're listening to is "Old-Time Radio's Greatest Shows". There are 20 Cassettes and each of them are 1 1/2 hours with 3 shows on each. I am glad things worked out where we have started listening to them today.

In looking through it (sometimes I make notes in the book). I see the last time it was read or looked at was 3/22/2008 and then the furthest progress was to page 38. So there you go. I doubt it will go down as a favorite book by any of the readers I know. It did make me wonder - who is Eckhart Tolle? Where did he come from. I'm not sure how motivated I am into finding the answer. I did read some more today and like the story about "The Lost Ring". Having a family member that has a clutter problem (in my eyes) it did seem to give me another way to look at it.
With taxes and the Japan Film Festival going on now (which if you can catch it - I recommend it) we aren't doing many books but we are still making sure that books are a part of our life. Also found another great library - The Nihongo Library located in downtown, Los Angeles. Some of us are also looking forward to seeing what came in today on our library holds. So what is happening with us
Last night we finished up Armageddon's Children by Terry Brooks. It was an AudioBook. I can't wait to find out what happens next and will place #2 of the series (The Elves of Cintra) on hold today. Hopefully it will be here by next weekend.
We also have to say goodbye to Kodansha's Communicative English-Japanese Dictionary. My child had this book around him constantly but since it is a library book it must be returned.

Loving books but not loving all books. The beauty about not having required reading is that once you find a book isn't for you you can return it to library, pass it on to someone who is interested, bookcross it.
